With crisis feeling like the new normal, so many of us are thinking on our feet every day and making difficult decisions. I can hold a space for your team to reflect, make progress and grow into a new strategic phase.

I’ve been supporting leaders and trustees in conversations about what their future looks like. I know that some people are thinking deeply about what they want to take forward and what they want to leave behind.

I’m working with people and teams that need a sounding board, helpful challenge, facilitation tools and caring spaces to talk about what they are going through.

Harnessing lived experience

I’ve seen policy making, organisational development and service delivery turn towards the enormous potential of lived experience as a way to make things better. I have seen this done to differing degrees of success, usually based on how much time has been spent thinking about the why, how and when to open up the conversation.

Having supported people to share their experiences so that change could happen at the highest levels of government, and with my experience as a counsellor, I have unique insight into what works best.

I can work with you and your team to explore your definition of “lived experience”, think deeply about what you mean by involving lived experience and plan a more ethical way forward.
